WCOG Meeting Oct 8, 2005

wcThis wasn't my first choice in music, because it is very slow (not as slow as the Barry Manilow version); but, hey! It has October in its name. I was actually hoping to include a fun, Halloween themed music, but no one brought any Halloween origami; too early in the month, I suppose. We also had a lighter turnout than we've had in a while, perhaps due to this Saturday, not feeling like the 2nd Saturday of the month.

Hello there "anonymous"....that would be Mike Jittlove. The $ Garfield is also his invention, btw.

How did you get video and audio into the blogg. I have not become that advanced. Great site you have.

By the way, youand your folding partners are artists. I spent two tours duty in Japan, but, never could fold paper like that. I was able to fold some basic shapes, but, that ability has left me due to lack of practice.

If you doubleclick the video screen, it will take you directly to the source of the site that hosts the vids. Anything under 100 MBs for free. After uploading your video, there is an html code that will allow you to embed it onto your blog post.

For sound, check out audioblogger and related sites. Michael Whitt is the go-to guy for knowledge on this sort of thing.

Thanks for the compliment by the way on our folding skills. Just practice like anything else.

Are you still in the service?

Ok, nevermind. Just looked at your profile. Retired after 30 years in the Navy. That's awesome! Thanks for your service in the military. It's one of the things I regret not having done. There's still an outside chance, but I'm past my physical prime, and right at the cut-off mark for age qualifications.

My Dad was career Air Force, by the way. 32 years, I believe.
