Finally had a chance to give Joe a gift from Michael LaFosse. Folded by LaFosse, the paper was made by Richard Alexander.
Joe had loaded me up with a bunch of modular giveaways that he had folded (from envelopes) and which I took with me to PCOC.

So that's what that butterfly was for! I saw it behind their booth for selling paper at PCOC.
Well, LaFosse didn't fold it FOR Joe; but at the end, he wanted to express his appreciation of Joe's generosity and autographed and gave it to Joe.
Not sure what LaFosse was originally using it for, whether for teaching or for showing off the Origamido paper.
