Origin of this model:
folded for the french monthly challenge: "civilisations anciennes" the same subject for the origami internet olympiads.
at first I wanted to create a buddha but when I've folded it I seen it was possible to make a sort of asymmetry and create an origami crane in one of his hand. so it's not really a buddha but it could be one of the first origamist ! no ?
folded from one uncut squarre of canson in 50/50cm in wetfold... the best for fold this model beacause there is a lot of shaping. the paper was paint after folding and there is no color change.
